The Slingshot Joystick V1 is a minimalistic kite bar, designed specifically for foilers. Slingshot has removed the depower cleat to gain more depower range. You can now push the bar 50% further away from you, giving you an even greater depower range for complete freedom of movement on your foil. Thanks to the massive depower range, the depower is maximized, allowing the kite to drift maximum with the wind, making it easier to maneuver on your foil. The Joystick V1 comes with Slingshot's SureShot Click-In safety system with a small surf/foil loop. The safety system is quick to unlock, and with a simple twist, you can lock it back in place. The small loop ensures that the bar is closer to the rider's body for easier depowering. Of course, the safety system is ISO-compliant, indicating that the system is reliable and remains so, regardless of the conditions!

The bar itself of the Slingshot Joystick V1 is the thinnest and lightest ever! The bar is only 22 mm thin, giving you more grip. The thinner bar feels comfortable in your hand and allows for even more precise kite control. The bar's grip is made of EVA, which feels soft and comfortable, preventing irritation. The bar has variable FlyTech lines that are thinner and stronger for 2024, reducing resistance while flying the kite. The lines are made of Polyethylene Dyneema in an SK99 weave, ensuring minimal stretch, so the lines stay good for longer. The front lines are 1.6 mm thick, and the steering lines are 1.15 mm thick. Finally, the lines are variable thanks to the included 4m extensions. The bar comes standard with 18m lines, and with the 4m extensions, you can extend the line length to 22m.
