Sunshine, 22 degrees in the air and water that is nowhere near it: the classic problem on a cold water coast. The Prolimit Predator 4/3 Shortarm Double Frontzip 2027 Wetsuit is the answer to that. Your legs and torso sit in full 4/3mm neoprene, while your arms stay free from the upper arm down. That way you do not cool off through your lower body, but you do not overheat during a long session either. Prolimit uses the same base for this as the rest of the Predator line.
That base starts with NaturePrene2 Oystershell, completely neoprene free and built from natural rubber from FSC certified plantations, recycled carbon black, oyster shell powder and soybean oil. What counts for you as a rider is mainly that the material gives a lot, which you notice even more around your shoulders on a shortarm.
The outside is finished with Down Airflex. It repels water and dries fast, handy in summer when you hang the suit up to dry between two sessions. On the inside you get Zodiac 2 with Velvet Airflex, a soft velvet fleece that takes moisture off your skin and releases it again quickly. That makes getting in and out a lot smoother, especially with a shortarm you often just pull on in a hurry.
The double frontzip across your chest keeps your back free of hardware, which you notice the moment your harness goes over it. You also get KED knee panels for extra protection on your knees and drainage holes so any water that comes in after a crash runs straight back out.
