The Prolimit Mercury TR 4/3 Free-X Frontzip 2026 is designed for kitesurfers who want to hit the water during cooler summer days, early spring or late autumn. This Mercury wetsuit from Prolimit is lighter than the winter Mercury versions but still offers impressive warmth thanks to smart technologies and premium materials. Perfect for active riders who want to move freely, spin and loop without feeling restricted by their wetsuit.
The Mercury TR 4/3 combines warmth and flexibility in one stylish, functional package. The innovative Thermal Rebound 2 lining is at the heart of this wetsuit. It features a reflective layer between the inner and outer linings that traps body heat and effectively blocks wind chill. This keeps you warm for longer, even when the air temperature drops. The outer layer is made of FSC-certified NaturePrene2®, a neoprene-free material that is lightweight, highly stretchable and eco-friendly. The addition of Neolight Heather 550+ and the new Quad Flex material makes the exterior extra smooth and comfortable.
The 4/3 mm thickness provides the perfect balance between insulation and freedom of movement. The 4 mm on the torso keeps your core warm, while the 3 mm panels on the arms and legs give you unrestricted mobility. Inside, the soft Zodiac2 Plush lining and Velvet Quick Dry lining feel great against the skin and dry quickly between sessions, so you stay comfortable for longer.
The seams are constructed using the Fluid Taping Method (FTM). They are first glued, then blind-stitched, and finally sealed with a flexible rubber tape for a waterproof, durable and stretchy finish. The Aqua Alpha water-based glue provides an environmentally friendly bond between the panels. The YKK Free-X front zip makes it easy to get in and out of the suit and ensures a snug seal, even after heavy crashes. The Knee Elongation Design adds extra stretch and freedom of movement around the knees, ideal for intense tricks or surf maneuvers.
