The new Ozone Reo V7 Ultra-X 2024 Kite retains the DNA of the original V7 but is stronger, lighter, and delivers significantly more performance thanks to lightweight and rigid materials. The kite offers a smooth, predictable drift and a direct bar feel, allowing you to always know the kite's position without looking. The drift in light wind is improved, and when depowered, the kite is more stable than ever. The new Ozone Reo V7 Ultra-X 2024 Kite features new materials, but what has changed exactly and why? Let's start with the frame. The frame remains almost the same but is made with new materials. The leading edge and struts are 20% lighter compared to the standard 160g dacron, and they are also stiffer. This new minimal 125g dacron provides an even more direct feel, and the tight canopy enhances aerodynamics. The canopy has been replaced with a lightweight 17% lighter 55g triple ripstop fabric that offers incredible drift while the performance coating ensures high strength. The bridles are made of renewed Technora line material, allowing the lines to be 25-35% thinner without compromising their strength. Thanks to the thinner bridles, they are 25% lighter, reducing drag.

The Ozone Reo V7 Ultra-X 2024 Kite features a compact, low aspect shape for more feel, feedback, and control when riding the waves. When you steer the kite from one side to the other, it provides consistent power, preventing you from being pulled off your surfboard. The three-strut design keeps the weight low while providing maximum support for a stable kite, no matter where it is in the wind window. The new Ozone Reo V7 Ultra-X 2024 Kite is less likely to fly to the edge of the wind window when the lines go slack, making it easy to ride down the line on a wave. On the trailing edge of the kite, there are EVA anti-flap battens that prevent excessive flapping and improve the aerodynamic flow over the entire kite. The control lines have two settings to get the most out of a single kite. Setting 1 is designed for offshore conditions, positioned halfway down the pigtail. This setting is perfect for cross-shore to offshore winds, allowing the kite to reach the edge of the wind window even when fully depowered. The kite also drifts exceptionally well when surfing down the line. Setting 2 is ideal for onshore winds, positioning the kite slightly further back in the wind window.
