The carbon used is customized for the North Atmos Pro and provides an extra direct feel and a lighter weight. The new 3DY Beam is a Carbon beam that runs through the kiteboard in a Y-shape, particularly along the bindings to the rail. The carbon beam provides an extra playful feel and ensures explosive pop without adding stiffness to the kiteboard. Of course, some features have remained unchanged. The double concave that transitions into a sort of V-center is back, providing extra soft and predictable landings. The medium rocker with ‘pulled-in tips’ ensures that the board planes easily while making overpowered riding a breeze. The deep channels under both the rail and the tips are also back, providing maximum grip and control in any conditions. Additionally, there is a channel on the top of the rail that you can use when practicing boardoffs. The rail is slightly easier to reach than your handle, making boardoffs easier to unlock.
