The Mystic Motion 3/2 Longarm Shorty Frontzip 2027 Wetsuit sits right in between. Mystic took the familiar Motion and cut the legs off just above the knee while keeping the sleeves long. That way you keep the warmth where you need it and the freedom where you want it.

Those long sleeves do more than you'd think. During a session your arms spend most of the time in the wind, wet and above the water. That's exactly where you cool down, even when the water feels great. With neoprene on your forearms and shoulders you stay warm on a long downwinder or while you're floating around waiting to relaunch your kite. Your upper body is also where you lose the most heat, so up there you're in a proper 3/2.

Your legs get all the room in the meantime. Without neoprene around your knees and calves, walking down to the water feels light, bending your knees on a landing is easy and pumping through the waves for speed takes no effort. Another bonus: you're in and out in seconds. Frontzip open, legs in, zip up and you're on the water while everyone else is still fighting with their legs. Behind your knee there's an emboss that makes bending even smoother.

The rest is Motion as you know it. The new Fox Fleece Ultra lining is the softest and warmest Mystic has made so far, is built from 50% recycled material and has a two-tone finish. The recycled XTR stretch outer material moves with you and lasts. The seams are glued and blind stitched, with 70% water repellent stretch taping on the inside, and Aquaflush 2.0 lets water out but not back in. The non slip cuffs stay where they belong, even when your suit is soaked, and your key goes safely into the chest pocket behind the frontzip.
