The auto untwist system is one of the most welcome features. After every rotation or kiteloop the lines automatically flow back into the right position, so you just keep riding without any hassle from crossed lines. That gives a really calm and smooth feeling during your session, even when you're actively practicing loops or rotations.

The quick release has been fully reworked on the X7. With one hand you easily reset the new QR, which gives you a lot more confidence when it really matters. Both depower lines are fully covered, which cuts down on wear a lot and gives a consistent feel in every condition. Small detail, big difference over the long term.

What really makes the X7 versatile is the adjustable V/Y line setup. Using a simple screw mechanism you switch instantly between a Low V and High Y configuration, depending on your kite or riding style. For the more advanced kiter the X7 also has a suicide safety option on the leash line, for a more direct connection to the kite while safety stays guaranteed.
