Flexible hardshell with new Unity closure from Ride Engine
The Ride Engine Saber 2021 is a new harness in the Ride Engine line-up. The Saber is a lot more flexible compared to the stiff Carbon Elite harness. In the back of the Ride Engine Saber 2021 harness is a sturdy SES plate. The SES plate largely has the same properties as a hardshell. Clear contours run across the SES plate that provide firm support in the lower back. SES (Structurally Engineered Shell) is a unique blend of composite moldable materials with computer aided construction technique. The SES improves the flex properties of the Saber hardshell harness while maintaining a high degree of fit, support and connection. The Saber has been developed for riders who want to experience the feeling of a hardshell, but still want a little more freedom of movement on the water.The molded shell has targeted contours that provide more torsional flex, yet offers the Lumbar Lock fit with Ride Engine locked-in feel. The Saber is equipped with Unity Ladder-Lock straps on the side. This is somewhat like the snowboard closure and is one of the most advanced locking mechanisms available on the market. The Unity spreader bar system no longer has straps, but you only have to adjust it once. Set it and forget it! This ensures a solid, stable connection between you and the kite. The Unity Spreader Bar has an ingenious design with custom Unity Ladder-Lock straps, eliminating the use of traditional straps and providing an unparalleled, non-slip, locked-in fit. Thanks to the leverage effect you can pull the Ride Engine Saber very tight, without any effort!
The Ride Engine Saber offers a comfortable fit and stays in place very well. It is equipped with Fusion memory foam which fits wonderfully on your body. Thanks to the low profile, it has a perfect fit and you get a lot of freedom to move.
